Abstract
The enactment of a work from home policy can affect the working hours and work habits of employees. In a survey conducted by Jobstreet, it was revealed that some respondents worked longer hours while working from home. This is due to the absence of a clear separation between the workplace and home, so that working time is not limited. This affects the level of satisfaction of employees such as insurance industry companies who have problems doing work that should be done outside the home. This study is a quantitative study to determine the effect of work environment and job stres on job satisfaction through work life balance as a mediating variable. The data collection method used in this research is using a sampling technique, namely probability sampling with the sample used is PT Asuransi Kredit Indonesia as many as 109 employees. In testing the hypothesis, this research uses the determinant coefficient test (R2), partial test (T test). The work environment variable on job satisfaction has a t-count value of 4.174 t table 1.65950 and the resulting p-value is 0.000-0.05. The variable of job stres on job satisfaction is t arithmetic 3.735 t table 1.65950 and the p value is 0.000 0.05. work life balance is not able to be a mediating variable for the influence of the work environment on job satisfaction, this can be seen from the t count 0.028 t table 1.65950 and has a p value of 0.050 0.05. work life balance is not able to be a mediating variable for the effect of work stres on job satisfaction, this can be seen from the t value of 0.064 t table 1.65950 and has a p value of 0.000 0.05. the work life balance variable on job satisfaction is t count 4.029 t table 1.65950 and has a p value of 0.000 0.05. The results obtained from this study are (1) the work environment has an influence on employee job satisfaction of PT Asuransi Kredit Indonesia (2) Work stres has an influence on job satisfaction of employees of PT Asuransi Kredit Indonesia. (3) Work life balance is not able to be a moderating variable for the influence of the work environment on job satisfaction. (4) Work life balance is not able to be a moderating variable for the effect of work stres on job satisfaction. (5) 5. Work Life Balance has an effect on employee job satisfaction of PT Asuransi Kredit Indonesia. Key word: Job Satisfaction, Job Stres, Work Environment, Work Life Balance
