Abstract
The world situation, information technology, and developing actors have changed diplomacy from traditional to modern, namely public diplomacy. In the digital era, public diplomacy through media using technological advances allows a country to reach a global audience quickly and effectively. Meanwhile, Indonesia is a country with cultural diversity. However, Indonesian culture is less well-known than the cultures of other countries. This study aims to examine Indonesian public diplomacy through the SEA Today news channel in an effort to introduce local Indonesian culture for the 2022-2024 period using the theory of public diplomacy and multi-track diplomacy. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques in this study are interviews and literature studies. The data used in this study come from primary and secondary sources. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman method, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study show that Indonesian public diplomacy through the SEA Today news channel in an effort to introduce local Indonesian culture for the 2022-2024 period has been carried out by fulfilling three dimensions of public diplomacy, namely news management, strategic communication, and relationship building, as well as Track One and Track Nine Diplomacy.
