Abstract

Job satisfaction often occurs as a result of feeling satisfied due to the good rewards given. Nurses who have a high workload tend to feel dissatisfaction at work because of the many tasks and work they have to complete well. This study aims to see and determine the relationship between rewards and workload and job satisfaction of nurses at the Jakarta Islamic Hospital Pondok Kopi. The research is quantitative research that uses a cross sectional research design and purposive sampling for sampling with a total sample of 111 respondents. Analysis in this study used Chi Square and it was found that there was a significant relationship between rewards and nurses' job satisfaction with a p value of 0.002, but it was inversely proportional to the relationship between workload and nurses' job satisfaction which had no relationship, as seen from the results. The p value is 1.777. Hospital management is expected to continue to maintain the triggering factor, namely the rewards given.
