Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology makes it easy for the public to access information anytime and anywhere through various online media channels or social media, this makes information that has not been verified correct and does not spread quickly.Therefore we need tactics that can replace/ward off ICT-based hoaxes. .Hoax Buster Tools is the need for a hoax prevention system that is already available android mobile based hoax deterrence system. This Hoax Buster Tools application aims to help make it easier for the public to check the truth of information currently circulating and to suppress the contents of unclear information. However, difficulties are experienced in the introduction of the Hoax Buster Tools application due to the confusing application interface design and lack of instructions on how to use the application.Therefore, the usability analysis in the Hoax Buster Tools application is needed to measure the feasibility of this application in terms of user experience. Usability will show the problems encountered in using applications with certain stages.
