Abstract
Hypertension is a condition where the measurement of systolic blood pressure is ≥130mmHg and diastolic blood pressure is ≥90mmHg. Hypertension, or high blood pressure, is a medical condition that can increase the risk of heart disease, stroke, and kidney failure. This study aims to provide family nursing care to patients with hypertension. The research uses a case study method on a hypertension case in Mr. A's family, specifically focusing on Mr. A. The conclusion from Mr. A's case is that nursing care issues can be resolved with proper and effective nursing care. The recommendation is to remain motivated and continue to remind family members to take care of those with hypertension.
