Abstract
The incidence of ischemic stroke is more common than hemorrhagic stroke. The purpose of this research is to analyze relationships Post-stroke Fatigue (PSF) with functional status in ischemic stroke patients of productive age. The sample for this study was ischemic stroke patients of productive age, totaling 93 respondents. Using sampling technique consecutive sampling. This research uses a questionnaire Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS) and Functional Independence Measure (FIM). In univariate analysis using descriptive tests and the results obtained were that the majority were 59 years old, the duration of the stroke was 8.5 months, the severity of stroke had a score of 7, dominated by men (58.1%), the highest education level was high school (57%), right hemiparesis (55.9%), and the partner (65.6%) was someone who cared for the respondent. Bivariate data tested using Spearman correlation showed that r = -0.551 and p = 0.001, which states that there is a relationship between the PSF variable and functional status. This relationship is a moderate relationship. The negative characteristic states that the higher the fatigue, the lower the functional status, and vice versa. Therefore, the results of this study can provide an understanding of the importance of good fatigue management to improve functional status in ischemic stroke patients of productive age
