Abstract
This study aims to determine the reasons for the decline in share value and discuss the strategies used by the CNN Indonesia Tech News production team in increasing share value during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method that researchers use is descriptive qualitative using data collection techniques with interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the research conducted, it was found that the causes of the decline in share value were changes in the pattern of audience information needs during the pandemic and the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic which made it difficult to produce information that met the audience's criteria. The strategy carried out by the CNN Indonesia Tech News production team is packaging more detailed material in technical terms, such as writing material, visualization to voice over. In addition, the production team also implements an arrangement of program material from the most interesting according to the characteristics of the audience. The use of Agenda Setting theory in practice, the CNN Indonesia Tech News production team has used one of the concepts, namely the media agenda which refers to the list of issues or events provided by the media.
