Abstract
Background: Gout is an inflammatory disease of the joints caused by high levels of Uric Acid in the blood, which is characterized by the buildup of Monosodium Urate Crystals around the joints in the form of Tofi. Method: This writing method uses a descriptive approach in the form of a case study to determine the problem of nursing care in the elderly with Gout nursing care approach which includes assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Results: Gout clients generally have a nursing diagnosis of acute pain and activity disorders. Conclusions and suggestions: Unresolved diagnoses are nursing diagnoses of acute pain and sleep pattern disorders. Advice for nurses is expected that nurses can further explore the knowledge of caring and can apply nursing careto the elderly so that they can improve the quality of life of the elderly so that a prosperous elderly life is achieved, especially in physical terms with an increase in the level of independence of the elderly and a decrease in the dependence of theelderly on service providers.
