Abstract

The development of digital media, including social media, is one of the successes of information and communication technology. One social media that is currently popular is Instagram, which continues to experience an increase in the number of users every year. The For Young Indonesians Forum is here with the Instagram account name @fyindonesians to discuss social issues, especially healthy food. This research aims to determine followers' satisfaction with health education content on the dangers of packaged sweetened drinks (MBdK) on the Instagram account @fyindonesians. The theory used in this research is Expectancy Value Theory. The concepts in this research include follower satisfaction, Instagram social media and educational content. This research is descriptive quantitative research. The sampling technique used simple random sampling and the research population was followers of the Instagram account @fyindonesians, with a sample size of 100 results from the Slovin formula. Data analysis for this research was carried out by comparing the average values of gratifications sought (GS) and gratifications obtained (GO) obtained from the respondents' answers. The results of this research show that there is followers satisfaction with the health education content on the dangers of Packaged Sweetened Drinks (MBdK) on the Instagram account @fyindonesians. The results of the independent sample t-test show that there are no significant differences between the two dimensions.
