Abstract

The performance of healthcare workers is a crucial aspect inensuring quality services in healthcare facilities. Optimal performance of health workers not only improves hospital operational efficiency but also has a direct impact on patient satisfaction and better clinical outcomes. The purpose of the study was to analyse the effect of work-life balance and non physical work environment on the performance of health workers at Grha Permata Ibu Hospital. The research was conducted with a cross-sectional study design and the population in this study were 353 health workers of Grha Permata Ibu Hospital. Based on the calculation of the slovin formula, it is known that the number of samples studied is 140 respondents. The sampling technique in this study was carried out by random sampling technique with an error of 7%. Analysis of research data includes univariate, bivariate with chi-square, and multivariate with multiple logistic regression. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant influence between work-life balance (p-value = 0.001) and non-physical work environment (p-value = 0.044). Work-life balance is the most influential factor on the performance of health workers (OR = 6.799), meaning that health workers with high work-life balance have a 7 times higher chance of high performance than those with low work life balance. This study shows that the majority of respondents have a high work-life balance and environment.
