Abstract
The use of motorbikes in DKI Jakarta has experienced a significant increase over the past few years, accompanied by a rising number of accidents involving motorbike riders. Human factors, such as attitude and recklessness, are common causes of accidents. This study aimed to analyze the impact of distractions on driving behaviour among motorbike riders aged 44-60 in DKI Jakarta using Susceptibility to Driver Distraction Questionnaire (SDDQ) and the Driver Behaviour Questionnaire (DBQ). From a total of 131 participants, 60% of them are male drivers and 40% are female riders. The collected data was then analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM) with LISREL application. The results showed that middle-age motorbike riders in DKI Jakarta have a good driving behaviour and understanding of distractions. According to t-value (>1,96) and regression coefficients, it is indicated that Engagement has a positive and significant influence of 3,69 on Lapses, Involuntary Distraction has a negative and significant influence of -0,32 on Aggressive Violation. Voluntary Distraction has a negative and significant effect of 0,55 on Ordinary Violation.
