Abstract
Background: Sectio Caesarea is a surgical process to deliver a fetus through an incision in the abdominal wall and uterine wall. Sectio Caesarea surgery can cause pain. Pain due to minor to severe injuries after surgical operations that limits a person's ability to move or meet basic needs, even causing neurogenic shock and making breastfeeding difficult. Objective: This study aims to report nursing care to Mrs. W (P1A0) with the problem of acute pain after Sectio Caesarea surgery on Jl Asri III, Pondok Ranggon Village, Cipayung District, South Jakarta, 13860. Method: This research uses a simple descriptive case study method in implementing nursing care for Mrs. W (P1A0) Post Cesarean Operation with Acute Pain Problems. Mrs. W's data was collected using interviews, observation and physical examination. Results: Acute pain due to post-operative wounds causes The patient has difficulty carrying out activities so that the patient cannot provide optimal care for the baby. Not only acute pain, other nursing diagnoses that emerged, namely Sleep Pattern Disorders and Knowledge Deficit, were established in the case of Mrs. W. Nursing interventions include pain management, sleep support and breastfeeding education. In 3 meetings with Mrs. W, the acute pain problem was resolved with the outcome criteria being that the patient no longer complained of pain.
