Abstract

Background : Hypertension is a condition where blood pressure exceeds normal, with blood pressure more than 140 mmHg / 90 mmHg. Prevalence continues to increase with uncontrolled hypertension being the biggest cause of cardiovascular disease such as stroke, myocardial infarction and kidney failure. This writing aims to implement family nursing care for hypertension sufferers. Research Method : This research uses a case study method related to family nursing and focuses on family members with hypertension in Mr. A's family, especially Mrs. M. Results : The results of the writing that was carried out on Mr. A's family, especially Mrs. Conclusion : Nursing problems can be resolved according to correct and appropriate family nursing care. The advice that can be given is that it is hoped that it will be able to provide strong support and motivation in overcoming hypertension problems, and can improve the ability to care for and maintain one's own health in dealing with hypertension problems
