Abstract
Television is a medium that has advantages compared to other media through audio and visual. Television media activists use this advantage through one of the news formats on television, namely live reports. This research will examine the reporter's communication style in conveying information through live reports and how reporters build interactions with their coverage team to produce live report broadcasts that can be well received by the public. Researchers will focus on what indicators influence the reporter's communication style when conducting a live report, so that it can be well received by a wide audience through phenomenological studies. Scholars agree that the live report news format will strengthen the news produced by television media. However, in reality there are many obstacles that confront reporters in the field when covering news, one of which is when reporters do live reports. Through this research, readers will find out how reporters face all the obstacles that exist in the field when the reporter is going to do a live report, how the reporter's communication style can be maintained when the live report takes place even though there are many challenges in the field and how the reporting team can influence the live broadcast of the report itself.
