Abstract
In recent years, there has been rapid progress in the digital world. In 2022, Baznas announced that the potential of zakat (charitable donations) from the Indonesian community reached 26 trillion rupiahs, but the realized amount was only 21.3 trillion rupiahs. In the three provinces covering the Jabodetabek area, the collection of zakat was below the national average. This research aims to determine the influence of digital literacy, social media, and zakat features on digital wallets on the interest in paying zakat. A quantitative approach was employed using the partial least squares technique with the SmartPls application. The research population consists of Muslim communities in Jabodetabek. The sample was selected using nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling, involving 100 respondents who met the criteria of being Muslim residents in Jabodetabek and using OVO, DANA, or GoPay services. Data were collected through a questionnaire. The results of the t-test show that digital literacy has a 68.5% influence on interest, social media has a 6.5% influence, while the zakat feature on digital wallets has a 14% influence. Hypothesis testing results indicate that digital literacy has a positive and significant effect on interest, while social media and the zakat feature on digital wallets do not have a significant influence on interest.
