Abstract

A person who experiences stress will have a reaction from the stressor, one of which is mental symptoms, where a person will experience a decrease in motivation to study when they are under stress, so that this will have an impact on academics, specifically on passing the SOCA examination. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of changes in stress levels and learning motivation on passing the SOCA exam among students at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jakarta. From the results of the bivariate test using the Chi-square test, it was found that the P-Value was 0.040 between stress level and passing the SOCA exam and the P-Value was 0.000 between learning motivation and passing the SOCA exam.
