Abstract
There are still many families who do not know how to prevent hypertension, hypertension is very vulnerable to occur in the family. Therefore, it is necessary to have a good understanding of hypertension. By having a good and correct understanding, the family will understand that hypertension cannot be underestimated. The purpose of this study is to provide nursing care to families who have problems related to hypertension through the implementation of strategies for implementing nursing care. The research design used by this researcher uses descriptive research with a case study approach. The results of this study are three family nursing diagnoses found in Mr. A, namely ineffective health maintenance, acute pain, and ineffective family health management. While the interventions carried out are adjusted to 5 family health tasks. Evaluation of the results obtained from family nursing diagnoses, namely ineffective health maintenance, acute pain, and ineffective family health management can be overcome. It is hoped that with this family nursing care it can increase the knowledge and ability of the family in caring for patients with hypertension.
