Abstract
Music is one of the media that can be used as a forum to express an opinion and criticism. Criticisms conveyed through the media of music can be useful for expressing various phenomena that occur in society. This study aims to find out the meanings contained in the song "Negara Lucu" by Enau, as well as to find out how the song can be a medium in giving opinions or social criticism. The method used in this study is a qualitative method that focuses on document studies using primary data sources. Based on this research, it can be seen that the social criticism contained in the song "Negara Lucu" aims to take and build public sympathy as music lovers to better see social phenomena that are happening in everyday life. The existence of social criticism in the song "Negara Lucu" explains that the meanings contained in the lyrics of the song not only contain opinions about phenomena that occur in society, but also provide solutions to problems that exist in the social environment.
