Abstract
Low Back Pain (LBP) is a health problem that is common in Indonesian society. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2012 it was stated that occupational risk occupies is the tenth position in the causes of morbidity and mortality1 Several studies report that driving distance is one of the risk factors for low back pain. Taxi drivers are one of the populations that have these risk factors. Until now there has been no research that discusses the corelation between mileage and low back pain in online taxi drivers. Methods: This research is an observational analytic with a cross sectional approach. Determination of the sample in this study is using the consecutive sampling method on the population of online taxi drivers in Bekasi Regency with a questionnaire. The analytical method used in this research is chi square. Results: There is a significant corelation between mileage and Low Back Pain on online taxi drivers in Bekasi Regency with p value = 0.002. Conclusion: Mileage is related to the occurrence of low back pain in online taxi drivers in Bekasi district. This complaint is especially felt in the early adult age group (26-35 years) and the late adult group (36-45 years).
