Abstract
Phenomena in the digital era with the presence of new media have brought changes to human life. Social media that is widely enjoyed in Indonesia, such as YouTube, is a site that provides video content on the internet and can be a source of entertainment information, educational content, social content and information about sports. Paying attention to this reality, YouTube is equipped with various information about sports, but these broadcasts do not necessarily bring students to an awareness of healthy lifestyles. Students are less interested in watching sports shows, and tend to watch shows just for entertainment. This reality requires a YouTube channel platform to encourage students to adopt a healthy lifestyle, namely through Vindes. The aim of this research is to examine the influence of the Vindes Sport program on interest in sports of FISIP UPNVJ students using Cultivation theory. Cultivation theory studies the influence of watching television or broadcasts in mass media which are responsible for shaping the audience's conception of social reality. The research method used was quantitative using a survey in the form of a Google Form questionnaire with 97 respondents from FISIP UPNVJ students. The sampling technique was carried out using purposive random sampling. The results of The research found that the calculated f value was 55,961 which was greater than the F table value of 3.94, so it could be interpreted that there was an influence between the simultaneous broadcast of the Vindes Sport program on the interest in sports of FISIP UPNVJ students. Based on the T test, it was found that the calculated T result was 3,314 which was greater than the T table, which was 1,985. Based on the research results, it was concluded that there was a significant influence regarding the influence of the Vindes Sport program on the interest in sports of FISIP UPNVJ students.
