Abstract
Pregnancy experiences changes both psychologically and physiologically. These changes cause discomfort which will generally have an impact on reducing sleep quality, especially in third trimester pregnant women. Third trimester pregnant women who have difficulty getting good quality sleep will have a negative impact on the birthing process and will also cause pregnant women to feel weak and their immune system will decrease so they are susceptible to disease. The aim of this study wasto determine the effect of music therapy on sleep quality in third trimester pregnant women. This research uses data collection techniques in qualitative research including observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study showed that 3 nursing diagnoses were raised, including disturbed sleep patterns related to lack of sleep control (pregnancy), acute pain related to physiological injurious agents (pregnancy), impaired urine elimination related to decreased bladder capacity
