Abstract
View Ranger is a very influential application for someone who has a hobby of mountain climbing, biking and traveling. This application has a sophisticated feature that is offline GPS. As of November 26, 2021 based on data on Google Play, the View Ranger application has more than 45 thousand reviews given by users, has a rating of 4.6 and has been downloaded as many as 5 million downloads. This research will classify sentiment on the view ranger application based on user opinions or reviews using the naïve bayes method. Data retrieval is done through google play scraper using google colab. The results of classification evaluation using the naïve bayes method using 1337 words obtained an accuracy value of 0.8701 (87%), a recall value of 0.9318 (93%), a precision value of 0.8541 (85%), and a specificity value of 0.7878 (78%). From the results obtained, it can be said that the performance of the naïve bayes method is fairly high in the level of accuracy, recall, precision and specificity.
