Abstract
This study aims to analyze the management of royalties for songwriters after the enactment of PP Number 56 of 2021 and the role of LMKN as a one-stop institution in royalty management to overcome the problem of managing royalties for musicians who do not get royalties after the enactment of PP Number 56 of 2021. This research is a normative juridical research sourced from secondary data derived from the Literature study, with a statutory approach. The management of royalties in more detail is regulated in articles 8 to 12 of PP Number 56 of 2021. With the SILM (Song / Music Information System) it is hoped that royalty management can be effective. The role of LMKN to solve the problem of managing royalties for musicians who are not registered as LMK members is to conduct face- to-face counseling to the residence of songwriters who have not been registered as LMK members, then the information submitted by LMKN can be clearly received by songwriters.
