Abstract

In the current era of globalization, business is an activity that is in demand by many people, one of which is the ornamental plant business. Competition in marketing goods that is increasingly stringent requires business owners to be able to develop business effectively and efficiently, for this reason a good marketing strategy is needed in order to achieve sales targets. Bumi Flora is an ornamental plant shop located in the Tangerang area. The random pattern of consumer purchases makes it difficult for Toko Bumi Flora to determine the appropriate marketing strategy for goods. Consumer purchasing patterns can be known using the method of association in data mining to look for a pattern relationship between one or more items. For this reason, an analysis of ornamental plant purchasing patterns is needed to maximize marketing with a product bundling strategy. Item sales transaction data can be used to look for relationships between items with the fp-growth algorithm. This study produces six ideal rules with an experiment of a minimum value of 3% support and a minimum value of 25% confidence and each rule produced has a lift ratio value of more than one.
