Abstract

The production design of the Social Chic 2025 event warrants further scholarly investigation due to its distinctive strategy for promoting local fashion and beauty products throughout its implementation. This study focuses on Social Chic 2025 as a case study to examine the event production management process within a shoppertainment context, with Beekind Quarter serving as the event organizer. Employing a qualitative approach through a case study method. The findings reveal that Social Chic 2025 implemented the shoppertainment concept through ten technical dimensions of event production. Supported by regular horizontal and vertical coordination mechanisms, including weekly meetings and digital communication platforms, as well as a comprehensive ten-month planning process, the organizing team developed a strategic production design encompassing ten spatial planning elements, including audience flow, booth layout, and stage arrangement, to seamlessly integrate shopping and entertainment experiences. This spatial design strategy enabled the organizers to respond efficiently to technical challenges encountered during the event while simultaneously enhancing digital traffic and improving the sales performance of participating brands throughout the event.
