Abstract
Improving public health status begins during school age through health programs implemented in educational settings. One of these programs is the School Health Program (UKS), whose successful implementation is influenced by organizational capacity and school management support. This study aimed to analyze the determinants of organizational capacity and school management support on the successful implementation of the UKS Program at SMK Negeri 1 Kota Bekasi in 2026. This study employed a Convergent Mixed Methods design, in which quantitative and qualitative data were collected simultaneously. The quantitative component used a cross-sectional design. Total sampling was applied to 60 UKS team members from grades 10 and 11. The results showed significant associations between human resources (p=0.048), funding (p=0.002), standard operating procedures (p=0.002), facilities and infrastructure (p=0.004), leadership role (p=0.036), staff coordination (p=0.045), and successful UKS implementation. Logistics was not significantly associated (p=0.357). Thematic analysis identified challenges related to limited facilities and infrastructure, inadequate medicines and first-aid supplies, suboptimal supervision, and ineffective communication and coordination among implementers. Organizational capacity and school management support play essential roles in the successful implementation of the UKS Program. Schools should strengthen improving resources, supervision, and sustainable UKS program management.
