Abstract

MSME performance is a key indicator of business success, particularly in responding to increasing competition driven by globalization and digital transformation. Although MSMEs make a significant contribution to the economy, challenges such as stagnant sales, low profitability, and limited competitiveness indicate that business performance remains suboptimal. This issue is evident among culinary MSMEs in DKI Jakarta, where business growth has not been fully accompanied by sustainable performance improvement. This study aims to examine the effects of halal certification, digital literacy, and government support on the performance of culinary MSMEs in DKI Jakarta. A quantitative approach was employed using SmartPLS for data analysis. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 120 culinary MSME owners. The results reveal that halal certification, digital literacy, and government support have positive and significant effects on MSME performance, with government support emerging as the most influential factor. These findings suggest that improving MSME performance requires the integration of the Halal Product Assurance System (SJPH), stronger digital literacy, and effective utilization of government empowerment programs. Therefore, MSME owners are encouraged to consistently implement halal standards, optimize digital technologies in business operations, and actively participate in training and mentoring programs to enhance competitiveness and ensure long-term business sustainability.
