Abstract

Financing growth at PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) experienced a significant slowdown from 21.26% in 2022 to 9.50% in 2024, despite the continued increase in total national Islamic banking assets. This phenomenon indicates the existence of factors that shape public interest in choosing Islamic financing services. This study aims to examine the influence of Islamic financial literacy, religiosity, and service quality on interest in choosing financing services at PT BSI. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to 150 respondents in the Greater Jakarta area using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was performed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that Islamic financial literacy, religiosity, and service quality have a positive and significant effect on interest in choosing financing services at PT BSI. This research contributes to filling the gap in inconsistent results in previous research and provides practical implications for BSI in formulating strategies for increasing literacy, approaches based on religious values, and improving service quality.
