Abstract
This study discusses the mechanism for filing the Annual Individual Income Tax Return through the Coretax platform at KPP Pratama Depok Cimanggis. The objectives of this study are to describe the stages of annual tax return filing through Coretax, identify the obstacles encountered by taxpayers and tax officers, and analyze the efforts made by KPP Pratama Depok Cimanggis to overcome these obstacles. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews and documentation. The findings show that the filing mechanism of the Annual Individual Income Tax Return through Coretax is carried out systematically, starting from accessing the portal, logging in, checking withholding tax documents, creating a tax return draft, completing the form, validating the data, providing a digital signature, and downloading the filing receipt. Although Coretax can improve the efficiency of electronic tax reporting, several obstacles remain, including limited taxpayer understanding, varying levels of digital literacy, slow system loading, unstable internet connections, and login difficulties. To address these issues, KPP Pratama Depok Cimanggis provides direct assistance, conducts socialization and education programs, increases the number of service officers, and coordinates technical issues with relevant parties. Therefore, Coretax has the potential to support the modernization of tax administration, provided that it is supported by a stable system and improved taxpayer understanding.
