Abstract
This research aims to analyze the social media management strategy of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) carried out by the Parliamentary Press Bureau in realizing the transparency of the legislative body's performance. Social media is positioned as a strategic communication channel that not only functions as a means of publication but also as a medium for information disclosure and interaction with the public. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection was conducted through semi-structured interviews with key informants within the DPR RI Parliamentary Press Bureau as social media managers, supported by observation and documentation studies of social media content. The results of the study show that the DPR RI has implemented a structured and data-driven social media management strategy through an integrated newsroom system, agenda setting, audience segmentation, and periodic evaluation of sentiment and content performance. This strategy supports performance transparency through information disclosure, clarity of messages, and simplification of content to make it easier for the public to understand. However, the transparency that has been achieved is still largely informative in nature and is not yet fully dialogical and deliberative. Two-way interaction and public involvement in the communication process are still limited due to ethical considerations and institutional caution. Thus, the DPR RI's social media management strategy can be considered quite effective in supporting performance transparency, but it still needs to be strengthened in terms of participation and dialogic communication.
