Abstract
Solid waste in Indonesia has become an increasingly urgent environmental issue, with volumes rising each year. Based on information from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (2023), domestic waste reached approximately 69.9 million tons in 2023, marking a significant increase over previous years. This figure shows a significant increase from the previous period. This situation is partly driven by low public awareness, especially among young people. Pandawara, a creative youth community on TikTok, addresses this challenge through the #onedayonetrashbag campaign, encouraging its followers to adopt more responsible behaviors in preserving the environment. The study draws on Ostergaard’s Campaign Model for its theoretical framework. To test the model’s applicability, we use a quantitative explanatory research design, collecting data via a survey of 100 followers of the TikTok account @pandawaragroup. Results indicate that #onedayonetrashbag campaign messages exert a positive, statistically significant effect on young people’s environmental awareness.
