Abstract
Along with the rapid development of technology, many activities that were previously carried out conventionally are now transferred using technology to increase efficiency and convenience. At the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta, most academic processes such as filling out study plan cards, registering for thesis trials, and applying for leave have utilized technology. However, the process of borrowing a room and item in this faculty is still done manually, where the borrower must come directly to campus to see the availability of the room and item or submit a loan letter. In addition, there are often time conflicts related to borrowing rooms by parties from outside the faculty, so students and lecturers from the Faculty of Computer Science often have difficulty getting rooms. To overcome this problem, this research aims to design a mobile application-based room and item lending information system that can facilitate the process of borrowing rooms and items at the Faculty of Computer Science. This system is designed using the Waterfall method which has structured and clear system development stages, so that it is expected to be able to provide effective and efficient solutions in managing room and item loans.
