Abstract
Digital transformation requires small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to manage operational data efficiently, accurately, and in a data-driven manner. PT Kopi Rawdee Rawageude, a coffee production SME, still relies on manual spreadsheets for recording green bean operations, which are prone to duplication, input errors, and delays in accessing information. This situation reduces efficiency and hinders timely decision-making. This study aims to design an operational dashboard using Microsoft Excel, incorporating Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, Slicers, Timelines, and Power Query, by applying the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach and Rapid Prototyping method. The respondents consisted of the head of division and two roastery team members as primary users. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and the Questionnaire for User Interaction Satisfaction (QUIS). The research process involved developing prototypes, user evaluations, and iterative revisions based on feedback. The evaluation results indicate a significant improvement in user satisfaction, with the average QUIS score increasing from 4.73 in the old system to 7.92 in the new dashboard. The greatest improvements were found in screen design and general impressions, showing that the dashboard is more interactive, user-friendly, and aligned with operational needs. The implementation proved to enhance inventory recording reliability, accelerate data analysis, and support data-driven decision-making. Beyond practical benefits for the company, this study emphasizes the importance of applying UCD to design simple yet effective systems, thus serving as both an academic and practical reference for SMEs facing similar technological constraints.
