Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of Job crafting, Employee engagement, and Organizational Support on job satisfaction among Generation Z employees at the Alfamidi retail chain in Depok. This study used quantitative methods, sending questionnaires to 133 Gen Z employees, and then analyzing the data using SmartPLS software. The results showed that Job crafting has a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction. This means that the greater the opportunity for employees to customize their work, the higher their perceived level of satisfaction. Meanwhile, Employee engagement did not show a significant impact on job satisfaction, suggesting that high levels of job engagement do not effectively increase employee satisfaction in this context. Organizational Support had a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction, indicating that attention, fairness, and assistance from the organization play a significant role in enhancing employee well-being and satisfaction. These findings suggest that increased job satisfaction among Generation Z employees at Alfamidi depends more on the availability of space for Job crafting and the quality of support provided by the organization, rather than on their level of work engagement.
