Abstract
This study analyses waste in the export process flow of PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk through a Lean Management approach and Value Stream Mapping. CVSM findings indicate the presence of non-value-added activities in the form of long waiting times, improper processing, and excessive work movements. Priority waste was identified using the Borda Count Method and analysed for root causes using the 5 Whys technique. Based on these results, FVSM was developed to simplify the workflow and reduce repetitive activities, resulting in a potential reduction in process time from 32,200 minutes to 31,480 minutes with a time difference of 720 minutes (2.24% efficiency) and a reduction in lead time from 52,840 minutes to 47,860 minutes with a time difference of 4.980 minutes (9.42% efficiency). These findings confirm that the implementation of Lean Management can significantly improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the export process.
