Abstract
Toddlers are an age group undergoing a rapid phase of growth and development, thus requiring optimal nutritional intake and stimulation. One of the main health issues in toddlers is stunting, caused by chronic malnutrition and recurrent infections, which impacts physical growth and cognitive development. Acupressure, as a non-pharmacological method, is considered effective in increasing appetite and supporting children's motor development. This study aims to analyze the application of family nursing care through acupressure intervention in toddlers experiencing poor appetite and delayed motor development. The research used a case study method with a nursing care approach, carried out over three weeks with nine sessions. The results showed a significant increase in toddlers' appetite and motor development, along with improved family understanding of non- pharmacological care. This intervention has proven to be effective as part of family nursing care to prevent stunting through family empowerment. The role of family nursing in this study highlights the importance of nurses supporting families in applying acupressure techniques to improve toddlers' appetite and development. Through education and guidance, families can take a more active role in independently and sustainably preventing stunting within the home environment.
