Abstract

The Bali Tourism Office is a regional agency tasked with introducing Balinese culture, food, and dances, as well as the Hindu religion which is mostly practiced by the majority of Balinese people to local tourists from other regions and foreign tourists. However, there has been a decline in the arrival of both local and foreign tourists after the spread of the Covid-19 virus, resulting in the Bali Tourism Office involving related agencies in preventing the spread of the virus throughout Bali. The Bali Provincial Tourism Council, with the full support of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf),has also formulated a policy on Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and EnvironmentalSustainability (CHSE) as an effort to open several tourist attractions in Bali during the tensions pandemic which is still supervised by the Indonesian government so that tourists from various regions and countries still feel safe and comfortable. In addition, theBali Tourism Of ice has created a Covid-19 free area by maximizing vaccinations for the entire Balinese community through four regencies proposed as FCC pilot projects, namely Badung, Nusa Dua, and Kuta Regencies; Denpasar (Sanur destination), Gianyar (Ubud destination), and Klungkung (Nusa Penida destination). However, currently, theFCC zone only has three focus areas: Ubud, Sanur, and Nusa Dua. This area meets technological requirements such as health care, sufficient medical personnel, and easily accessible laboratories. And the last is, the development of cultural diplomacy practices carried out to re-promote the various cultures owned by the Bali region through theWonderful Indonesia idea that has existed since 2011. This study aims to discuss the cultural diplomacy strategy of the Bali Tourism Of ice in increasing minicamera tourist visits in Bali Province from 2020 to 2023 using the theory of Cultural Diplomacy and the concept of Sustainable Tourism. The research method used is qualitative with a centralized interview approach using primary data sources and secondary data sources.
