Abstract
The rapid advancement of technology and information has significantly transformed various aspects of life, including education through digital media such as websites. SMP Negeri 244 Jakarta, as a junior high school, has developed a school website to provide users with accessible digital information. This study aims to evaluate the website’s quality and identify indicators that require improvement or maintenance based on three dimensions: usability, information quality, and service interaction quality, using the Webqual 4.0 and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) methods. Recommendations for improvement were proposed based on User-Centered Design (UCD) principles to enhance the website’s quality. The research employed a quantitative approach using questionnaires distributed to 341 respondents. Data were analyzed through gap analysis, Webqual Index, and IPA. The IPA results identified eight priority indicators in Quadrant I, namely US_2, US_3, US_4, US_5, IQ_1, IQ_3, IQ_5, and SQ_4. The redesign improved the website’s quality across all user categories. For students, usability increased from 0.61 (Good) to 0.87 (Very Good), information quality from 0.67 to 0.85, and service interaction quality from 0.73 to 0.84. For teachers, usability rose from 0.60 to 0.90, information quality from 0.60 to 0.98, and service interaction quality from 0.72 to 0.98. For parents, usability improved from 0.67 to 0.85, information quality from 0.73 to 0.85, and service interaction quality from 0.79 to 0.90. Overall, the redesign effectively enhanced the website’s quality and better aligned it with user expectations.
