Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of financial influencers, system security, and information quality on the investment interest of Generation Z. The population for this research comprises Generation Z, both within and outside the JABODETABEK region, utilizing a random sampling technique. The rapid development of information technology has opened new opportunities in the investment landscape, particularly for Generation Z who aspire to gain profits. However, the investment interest of Generation Z remains a concern. This quantitative study utilized primary data collected from 86 Generation Z respondents who use mobile online investment applications. The results indicate that financial influencers do not significantly impact the investment interest of Generation Z. Conversely, system security and information quality significantly influence investment interest. Adequate system security provides a sense of assurance, while quality information assists Generation Z in comprehending risks and managing investment expectations. The credibility of information sources is also crucial in shaping investment interest. It is recommended that prospective investors seek information from trusted financial influencers, select applications with robust system security, and ensure the accuracy of information. Future research is advised to consider other potential influencing factors and broaden the scope of respondents for more representative findings.
