Abstract
In Indonesia, the population of people with disabilities reaches around 8.5% of the total population. This community often experiences discrimination, making it difficult to get decent work. Therefore, empowering people with disabilities is important to overcome this problem. One of a disabled community empowerment program is Difabis by BAZNAS DKI Jakarta Province. This research will focus on analyzing the effectiveness of the Difabis program in increasing the independence of disabled people. This research using qualitative method with Miles and Huberman models. The research results show that the Difabis program is an empowerment program for people with disabilities by providing training, skills certification and employment opportunities. Meanwhile, effectiveness analysis shows that 6 of the 7 effectiveness indicators have been met effectively. Thus, the Difabis program by BAZNAS DKI Jakarta Province is quite effective in empowering people with disabilities.
