Abstract
Background: Hypertension is when blood pressure increases during systole and diastole by more than 140/90 mmHg. Hypertension can cause the blood vessels in the brain to burst. And when blood vessels narrow, they can be blocked from flowing to the brain, and brain cells can die. Method: This research used a descriptive case study method to intensively examine nursing care for patients experiencing hypertension with acute pain problems in Limo Village, Depok City, West Java. Results and Discussion: Based on the assessment carried out on Mr. W's client with a priority nursing diagnosis of acute pain, a planning and implementation stage was developed that focused on monitoring the client's vital signs. Nursing actions were carried out in accordance with planning, with the results of the evaluation of nursing problems being partially resolved. Based on the results criteria, the client's condition is quite improved; based on the results of blood pressure monitoring, it gradually shows improvement, pain decreases, and the pain scale decreases.
