Abstract

Background: Stroke is a serious and potentially life-threatening disease that affects millions of people throughout the world every year. Physiotherapy has a role in treating problems in Hemorrhagic Stroke patients such as spasticity, muscle weakness and reduced activity limitations. Objective: The aim of this research is to determine the process of physiotherapy management by providing passive workouts, active assisted, stretching and bridging workouts in reducing spasticity and increasing muscle strength. Method: The design used is a case report on a patient with a medical diagnosis of stroke and causal intracerebral hemorrhage. Results: In this study, we found a decrease in spasticity in elbow extension, increased muscle strength in stroke patients and caused intracerebral hemorrhage. Conclusion: With 3 sessions of therapy, sensory improvements, decreased spasticity and increased muscle strength and daily activity limitations were found from the provision of Assisted, Stretching and Bridging.
