Abstract
This research aims to analyze the agrarian conflict in Pari Island, Kepulauan Seribu Regency, DKI Jakarta between local communities and PT Bumi Pari Asri. The agrarian conflict on Pari Island between local residents and PT Bumi Pari Asri illustrates the tension in land ownership claims for tourism development on Pari Island which ended in the seizure of community land on Pari Island. This research uses Russell Hardin's conflict theory as the main theory and David Schlosberg's ecological justice theory as the main supporting theory, and uses an environmental politics approach in analyzing this research. The research method used through a qualitative approach with the type of explanatory research and data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, literature studies in the form of books, journals / previous research, and the web. The research findings in this thesis cover four main aspects. First, the land dispute conflict between PT Bumi Pari Asri and the Pari Island community has an impact on the economy of the Pari Island community. Second, the impact of the conflict disrupts the distribution of land use by the community because the conflict has never been resolved. Third, the non-neutrality of the Pari Island village head in resolving the conflict. Fourth, intimidation, criminalization carried out by PT Bumi Pari Asri against the Pari Island community has caused unrest, division, and insecurity among the Pari Island community.
