Abstract
This study reviews the distribution of the People's Business Credit (KUR) by Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) in supporting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). MSMEs play an important role in Indonesia's economic development but often face capital constraints. KUR is designed to provide a solution by offering affordable financing for viable MSMEs that lack sufficient collateral. The purpose of this study is to evaluate BSI's performance in distributing KUR to MSMEs, including the application approval and credit recovery processes, and to identify factors that influence the effectiveness of this distribution. This research also aims to provide a better understanding of how KUR distribution can support the growth and success of MSMEs in Indonesia. The method used is quantitative data collection through surveys with respondents who are KUR BSI recipients. The results show that KUR BSI is effective in helping MSMEs overcome capital constraints and support business growth. However, there are some challenges in the distribution process that need improvement, including simplifying application procedures and increasing program socialization. This research provides significant contributions to understanding the role of Islamic financial institutions in supporting MSMEs and offers recommendations for enhancing the efficiency of the KUR program.
