Abstract
The emergence of new accident cases due to unsafe acts in 2023 at PT. B Indonesia located in Banten, made PT. B Indonesia cannot achieve ‘zero accidents’ tittle in the work environment. The purpose of this research is to determine factors that related to unsafe actions among Public Port workers in PT. B Indonesia. This research uses cross-sectional design study with quantitative research methods and was conducted from March-June 2024. The research data was processed using chi-square test with a sample of all PT. B Indonesia Public Port Worker, a total of 76 worker. The variables in this research are age, level of education, knowledge, length of service, motivation, attitude, work fatigue, supervision, training and safety socialization. Instrument that used on this research was a modification of a previous research questionnaire which has been tested for validity and reliability, as well as the standard IFRC questionnaire. The results showed that 44 out of 76 workers (57,9%) committed unsafe acts when work and there was a relationship between attitude variable (p-value = 0.001) and workers' unsafe acts. It was concluded that the high level of unsafe acts among PT. B Indonesia Public Port workers was related to the worker's attitude variables during work.
