Abstract
The high incidence of Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest (OHCA) requires immediate and appropriate treatment. Lack of knowledge of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) can be an obstacle in providing treatment to OHCA victims. In improving knowledge, the right learning method is needed for ordinary people, one of which is the blended learning method that combines face-to-face learning with online learning. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of CPR education using blended learning methods on increasing knowledge in high school students. This study used a quasi-experiment design with pretest and posttest with control group. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a total sample of 52 students. The sample population of this study was divided into two groups with each consisting of 26 respondents. The results of the statistical test in this study using the Independent t-test showed p=0.007 which means that there is a significant difference from CPR education using the blended learning method on increasing knowledge in high school students. The intervention group had a higher average difference than the control group.
