Abstract
Chronic renal failure (CKD) is a condition when there is a structural disorder and causes the kidneys to have impaired function, the condition lasts at least 3 months. Anemia in patients with CKD mostly occurs due to erythropoietin deficiency, shortened lifespan of red blood cells, iron and folate deficiency. Anemia increases in line with the worsening of chronic kidney failure experienced by patients 8.4% in stage one and increased to 53.4% in stage five. This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of folic acid and vitamin B12 in patients with Chronic Renal Failure at Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital in 2023. This research is an observational study with a cross-sectional study design. Data collection retrospectively through medical records and data presentation by descriptive analysis. This research data was analyzed with the Paired T-Test Test and obtained a significance of 0.000. The results obtained can be said that Folic Acid and Vitamin B12 there is a significant difference in the effectiveness of antianemia therapy to improve anemia in patients.
