Abstract

The Hikari Gakkai Institute is an institution dedicated to facilitating the distribution of work to Japan for job seekers in Indonesia. Currently, the candidate selection process at this institution is still carried out manually, namely through filling out forms and communicating via telephone. The absence of an automatic system in the selection process causes inefficient data management and is vulnerable to misinformation and non-integration of each data . Therefore, we need a selection process information system that can make it easier for registrants and institutions to manage new registrant data. This research aims to design an information system for the admission selection process at the Hikari Gakkai Institute. This system will be built on a web basis and uses PIECES analysis to analyze existing problems. The system architecture will be described using UML diagrams, and this information system will be developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The results of this research are in the form of a database and application for the selection process at the Hikari Gakkai Institute, which is expected to increase efficiency and accuracy in the selection process for workforce candidates.
