Abstract

This Final Assignment Report discusses procedures for management petty cash at PT Anilo Adikarya Sentosa. The company's smooth operations are strongly supported by abundant funds to fund the company's operations. In this case, a very important factor is the availability of cash in the company. Cash is a very important current asset, almost all transactions begin and end with receipts and payments. Petty cash is a fund that is opened specifically to pay business needs that are relatively small in amount and routine (quite high frequency), such as buying gallons of mineral water, office stationery, paying for office electricity, buying gas, paying security fees, etc. . By its nature, petty cash is susceptible to mismanagement and therefore requires adequate cash management for monitoring and security purposes. The purpose of writing this report is to find out the procedures for using petty cash carried out by PT Anilo Adikarya Sentosa. The petty cash recording method used by PT Anilo Adikarya Sentosa is the variable or fluctuating fund method, which means the company determines the nominal amount that will be filled in if the petty cash runs out. PT Anilo Adikarya Sentosa does not set a top-up period, so if the cash stored has run out, a top-up will be made. Every time there is a cash outlay, the accounting department will immediately record it into the Odoo application and the one who will refill the small account is the finance department.
