Abstract
Hypertension is a condition in which a person's blood pressure rises above the normal limit. Hypertension is one of the non-communicable diseases that is a global, regional, national and local public health problem. This suggests that hypertension is a risk factor for diseases that are quite dangerous for human health. This disease is also called the silent killer, it is said to be a silent killer because this disease appears without symptoms and is the number one cause of death in the world, especially among adults and the elderly. The design of family nursing care in this scientific paper emphasizes the case study method, because this study focuses on interactive processes and activities carried out during the study using data analysis and theories related to the causes and effects of hypertension. Data collection methods include interviews, observations, physical examinations and documentation. Researchers will explain about the nursing process in Mr. S family, especially Mrs. S who has hypertension health problems. The conclusion of the case in Mrs. S is that nursing problems can be overcome according to proper and correct family nursing care. Advice that can be given is to continue to provide mutual motivation and encouragement that reminds each other to care for and overcome families suffering from hypertension.
